You can add dividers, which function as collapsible toggles, to help keep your workspace neat and tidy.Īside from creating new subjects for your notes and dividers to separate your subjects, there’s not much else to see here. The notes you’ve housed within those subjects are displayed as either a list or a grid on the right. Opening the app, you’ll see your subjects (folders) on the left sidebar. #alt#An image showing the user interface for Notability. Grid view (shown) gives you an easy way to parse your notes, while list view is more compact. #caption#Notability’s user interface is clean, simple, and straightforward. You’ll also see a little shopping bag, which takes you to the GoodNotes Pop-Up Shop, where you can purchase new paper templates, covers, stickers, and more. You may also have access to the GoodNotes Community through a tab in the bottom right of your screen, but this feature isn’t yet available to all users.Īt the top right of your screen, you’ll find icons for a few more handy tools, including settings, bulk editing, and notifications. You’ll also notice a menu at the bottom of the GoodNotes app, which includes the search tool, a place for your shared documents, and quick access to your bookmarked note pages (favorites). You can also tap on the name of any document or folder to access additional menu items. This has to do with the way GoodNotes wants you to create and organize your notes and notebooks (more on this below), and it makes complete sense. When you open GoodNotes 5, you’ll be treated to either a list or grid layout (your choice), which displays all of your notes, folders, and notebooks in a quick and easy-to-read format. #alt#An image showing the user interface for GoodNotes 5. You can’t manually arrange your items, which is why we’ve used numbers to force the sorting. #caption#The GoodNotes user interface can be sorted as a list or a grid (shown), and arranged by date, name, and file type.

I know the average iPhone gamer could care less about polygon counts or whatever, so I'm not going to harp on the rudimentary construction of the characters. But then when you launch into a cutscene to push the story along, things get iffy. The scale of the city is always impressive, the vehicles are slick, and the lighting effects are very well done. On an iPhone 4, Miami Vindication can look awesome one moment and really odd the next. I know a lot of GTA players pour hours into this kind of jungle gym exploration, and Gameloft has made a solid effort to recreate it here, too. If you just want to goof around in Miami, you can steal boats, jetskis, and choppers as well as cause mayhem on the city streets. You must also admire the sheer amount of things to do in Miami Vindication, too. But as for street shootouts, I had little problem ducking between cars or buildings and trading shots with my rivals. The auto-targeting works well and any time I got plugged to death, it was because I was simply outgunned. Fighting and shooting are also handled better in Miami Vindication. It feels natural at first, but when you have to hit reverse to get out of a tricky spot and the camera is eight steps behind you, it seriously impacts the game. I must make one suggestion, though: turn off tilt steering for driving. Plus, you can pop wheelies by tilting your device toward you, which is cool for doing tricks off the many jumps you find around this fictionalized Miami. Motorcycles, on the other hand, are spitfires and feature very touchy controls. Driving an SUV, for example, means a wider turning radius and it takes longer to get up to full speed. Plus, different vehicle classes have individual handling. Miami Vindication handles much better than its predecessor, West Coast Hustle. I do appreciate the improvements to the controls. Every GTA I have played contains a fair share of fluff missions to pad out the longevity. As much as I would like to complain about filler missions here in Miami Vindication, they are hardly the sole domain of Gameloft. You race cars, set up thugs, shoot dudes, steal cars, and perform annoying fetch quests – just like GTA. You deep dive into a 75-mission story arc set across a very well constructed (but somewhat empty) Miami. And for the most part, Miami Vindication delivers. You want to know if it offers a fun take on Grand Theft Auto-esque open-world action. But you aren't considering whether or not to download Miami Vindication based on voice work. In fact, Miami Vindication easily features the best voice work in any Gameloft game thus far. It's silly, but at least the voice actors deliver their lines with conviction and sell the material. "Just tell me where to piss." That's the kind of hard thug talk you can expect out of the Miami of Gameloft's new Gangstar. This taco recipe only needs a few ingredients and you are set for dinner! Here is a tutorial on how to stream both the computer audio and your voice for any major video conferencing app (eg. After some googling, I learned that streaming computer audio on a Mac is a bit more tricky than Windows, but I managed to find a solution. Since the game audio (or more generally, my computer audio) is being played through my speakers and getting recorded by my mic, there can potentially be a lot of noise or distortion, which isn’t ideal. This works for the most part, except for one part: the audio. Google Meet or Zoom) together, I would share my screen with the game on it and everyone else joins using their phone. Since the COVID-19 lockdown started, one of the things I do to stay connected with friends is by playing games virtually. How to Stream Computer Audio and Microphone on Mac Using Blackhole * Hang on, you may be saying, DJ program? I thought it was an iPod DJ station? Well, it is and it isn’t… but more about that later on. So what’s different about the iDJ3 over the Mixtrack? Three crucial things: It’s got the same style of controls, including the great jogwheels that make the Mixtrack so much fun. It also has the same cheapish feel to it, although once you start using these new Numark controllers you forget that – and they are keenly priced after all. The first thing to note is that the Numark iDJ3 looks like a stretched Mixtrack. Let’s delve a little deeper… The controls are laid out sensibly and there are some nice touches, including good illumination feedback from the buttons. You’d think from looking at it that it’s a logical development from the iDJ2, allowing you to mix on two decks from one iPod but with the acclaimed styling and tactile feel of the Mixtrack. However, it is a controller from the time (not really so long back) when nobody had got scratching right on jogwheels on DJ controllers, and it has two small jogwheels that aren’t very good for club-style DJs at all. The iDJ2 is actually a practical piece of kit, and I have seen mobile DJs with it flight-cased at the heart of their setups. This was let down by one fatal flaw: Who has two iPods? This was followed by the iDJ2, which was a far more grown-up affair, which let you mix from one iPod, and had a cool colour screen for scrolling through your library etc. First Numark released the iDJ, which was a gimmicky dock for two iPods, letting you mix from each. Hot on the heels of our review of Numark’s runaway success the Mixtrack, comes a look at the more intriguing Numark iDJ3 DJ controller.Ī bit of history. The incidence of AOEs associated with ponatinib use has varied widely in subsequent reports. The exposure-adjusted incidence of newly occurring AOEs decreased from year 1 (15.8 patients with events per 100 patient-years in the total population) to year 5 (3.9 per 100 patient-years). However, arterial occlusive events (AOEs) were reported by investigators in 25% in the overall population (serious AOEs, 20%) and 31% in the CP-CML population (serious AOEs, 26%) in the 5-year follow-up. The 5-year results of the PACE trial confirmed the durability of these responses with a 5-year overall survival rate of 73% for CP-CML. In the pivotal phase 2 PACE (Ponatinib Ph+ ALL and CML Evaluation) trial, ponatinib demonstrated robust clinical activity with rapid, deep, and long-term responses, progression-free survival (PFS), and overall survival in patients with chronic-phase chronic myeloid leukemia (CP-CML), ≥ 90% of whom had failed treatment with ≥ 2 TKIs, regardless of the presence or absence of BCR::ABL1 mutations, including T315I. Ponatinib, a pan-BCR::ABL1 inhibitor, is an orally active third-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) designed to potently inhibit BCR::ABL1 with or without any point mutation, including BCR::ABL1 T315I. This trial was registered under identifier NCT01207440 on Septem( ). This independent adjudication study identified lower AOE rates than previously reported, suggesting earlier overestimation that may inaccurately reflect AOE risk with ponatinib. Patients with multiple baseline cardiovascular risk factors had higher adjudicated AOE rates than those without risk factors. Exposure-adjusted incidence of newly occurring adjudicated AOEs decreased over time. The only adjudicated AOE in > 2% of patients was peripheral arterial occlusive disease (4%). The adjudicated AOE rate (17%) was lower than the non-adjudicated rate (i.e., rate before adjudication 25%). ResultsĪ total of 449 patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) or Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) received ponatinib (median age 59 y 47% female 93% ≥ 2 prior tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) median follow-up, 37.3 months). To better understand clinically relevant AOEs with ponatinib, an independent cardiovascular adjudication committee reviewed 5-year AOE data from the PACE trial according to a charter-defined process and standardized event definitions. However, AOE rates vary depending on the definitions and reporting approach used. The phase 2 PACE (Ponatinib Ph+ ALL and CML Evaluation) trial of ponatinib showed robust long-term benefit in relapsed Philadelphia chromosome-positive (Ph+) leukemia arterial occlusive events (AOEs) occurred in ≥ 25% of patients based on investigator reporting. It is not a replacement for a sat nav and for route planning i still prefer the alternative. In Google Maps click the Menu button (the three line icon) and select 'Your Places' 3. Open Google Maps in a web browser and be signed in to your Google account (to be able to save and retrieve personal maps). It could be an useful addition if you have time to set it up for a rally / ride. This is how you create a map in Google Maps and transfer to Garmin Basemaps application for downloading to your Garmin GPS unit. So in conclusion i need to continue to experiment with it more. To export overlay data, you must back up your data ( Backing Up Data). when importing data into google maps i have struggled but have managed to import various data from differing sources onto the same map this make changing icons in groups possible the only trouble is the phone doesn't see it for some reason so all the icons appear the same. i cant get a satellite view of the map on my phone but can on the laptop so has proved to be good for route planning with the laptop and pretty much replaced tyre in that respect. i can store routes on the system and access them but have so far only achieved a to b and not sure if this would be any use as i have a route stored in my sat nav so have not pursed that possibility. what it doesn't seem to do is transfer any fancy coloured icons between my laptop and phone i have not yet been able to plan a route using the phone to more than 1 location. So what will it do and not do, so far i've discovered if i load the data into my maps and if at the side of the road i require some re-planning i can access this map easily it is easier to see the bigger picture of controls etc than the sat nav and will quickly give data for that control and time and distance to it and plan the route. So Google maps after some experimentation mainly using the method as quoted above i found i could import just about any data into google maps GPX, KML, excel and export KML, once i've got the file out i can easily convert it into any data format that is convenient. if i have a signal google maps shows my location i can access the internet when i have a signalģ. being perfectly usable as a phone i was a little bit cheesed off that that technology was forcing an upgrade on me for no apparent reason other than some company needs to see an increase in profits every single year. I've had a play with google maps over the winter mainly because some nice fellow showed me a GPX reader on his mobile phone in Sweden this looked like a good asset to have since then i've failed miserably to get an app with a GPX reader that will work on my phone apparently its to old. Spider Solitaire Windows XP - The online game Spider Solitaire Windows XP is a similar version of a legendary and quite popular Solitaire game that comes free with Microsoft Windows XP operating systems. The game allows moving a stack of cards that is one card more than empty free cells. But you don’t need to do it in such a complicated way. Normally, you would need to move a sequence card by card using the free cells. But when there are empty free cells, it is possible to store part of the sequence in them. The rules say that you can only move cards one by one. Try to remove cards from free cells as soon as you can, because free cells allow you to move several cards at a time. They are meant to store some of the cards when they block your game. When you are out of moves, use empty free cells. Each of the four foundations starts with an Ace. The goal of this game is to assemble foundations. Sort them in descending order of alternate colors. Start sorting cards on sequences on the tableau. The more carefully you plan, the easier it will be to solve the game. This game doesn’t have a time limit, so take your time. At the beginning of the game examine the cards and try to plan your moves. This makes one think FreeCell is pretty easy, but it can be challenging. They say that only a few deals of FreeCell are unsolvable. One of the favorites of all times is FreeCell Windows XP. Solitaires continue to be very popular and the newer versions of Windows also include a variety of these games. Probably it’s the reason why Microsoft added them to the older versions of Windows in the ’90s. Solitaires are great games to train your patience and attention. |
